Chiar daca am prins unele emisiuni ale domnului Dragos Bucurenci, ma refer in special la cele care ataca subiectul - mediul inconjurator (felicitari), nu inteleg de unde vine acesta metrosexualitate avant-gardisto-onanista. Un fel de: look at me and my interesting ideas. Mai multa modestie si ai grija cu Mircea Toma ala, ca spectrul lui muzical se opreste undeva la Ada Milea meets Deep Purple. (ma adresez aici celui care facea scarile la Studio Martin)

2007 - 3D/Fat Cat. After 3 years, this Iceland band, with some changes now, comes up with this brand album searching for right away answers. It's Mum all the way (not the biggest fan, but a respectable one). With everything from the classic symphonic sounds of brass and strings to the creative dimensions of electronic sampling, synths and the violinophone, Mum certainly are experimental. The ambitious nature of which could be too much for some people though. Indie Electronica/ IDM

Anyway, deocamdata e unicul eveniment de la noi care pune pe scena fresh blood, long live the queen.

Colectie incompleta dar binevoitoare de ad-uri vechiute. Merita aruncat un ochi, poate aveti vreun flyer de facut si threadless-ul nu se incarca. Sau, mai stii, nostalgii, scuzati rima.

the ams are back with gorgeous new tunes. oh, i forgot, they've already thrown the
Fireworks and they know damn well how to use'em. and now seriously, the track is probably their masterpiece sounding more complex than the other ones, adding some cheerful americana flavour and wolf howling to the brit foundation we all know. in a more civilised country, Fireworks would be a mainstream hit and Lynx deodorant would pay piles of cash to have it as a commercial soundtrack. for another sparkling new tune of them, make this simple move and then do the chicken dance.

1999's City Slang label presents The Rococo Rot - the amateur view. The music is instrumental post-rock of the Tortoise school, a hybrid sound that draws from rock, techno, ambient, and jazz. But, refreshingly, it lacks the kinds of artistic pretensions that lead musicians to apply labels like post-rock to their music. To Rococo Rot just rides along through pleasant, sometimes oddly jarring musical landscapes with a minimum of self-consciousness and a maximum of groove. Modern Love 2007. Depending on your mindset, the disc can be ominously disquieting or oddly comforting, like the sensation you might get from being marooned in a prairie on the wrong side of the tracks. Though a lack of indexing would make to-the-second track separation nearly impossible, each of the nine tracks has its own characteristics - this despite the fact that the basic components are limited to dubwise basslines that fade in and out, heavily treated percussive accents, shapeshifted textures and, as importantly as anything else, echo.

...but now we can see Israel Lights! Moreover, we can hear'em. Probably the first post-rock project here at your trusty "Romanian Top of The Pops", Israel Lights sounds...instrumental and deeply melancholic letting you guess some encouraging lights during the process, though. "The things you love" seems to be the highlight and claims to be heard live as soon as possible. Also, good name choice, Israel Lights comes along the other similar projects of the genre inspired by mystical Jewish references (e.g. A Silver Mountain Zion).
