Between 1968 and 1977 bands like Neu!, Can, Faust and Kraftwerk would look beyond western rock and roll to create some of the most original and uncompromising music ever heard. They shared one common goal - a forward-looking desire to transcend Germany's gruesome past - but that didn't stop the music press in war-obsessed Britain from calling them Krautrock.

Get on it before the rest of Bucharest does! This tiny group from Hereford (that's Hereford England, not Hereford in America or Albania or wherever the sad Hereford puritans might have spread their filthy colonialist lore) are set to be the next big thing, especially since their track "Reason 45" is going to be the theme song for the Prima TV show Efect 30, and therefore, unfortunately, almost guaranteed to be on A-list heavy rotation of Guerilla FM in approximately one month's time, by which time you're sure to despise their infuriating ubiquity. This means, that for once in the history of the universe, an emergent UK group might just have a hit in Romania before they do in their native country. It's a bit like The Stone Roses playing a tiny gig at Vama Veche just before rocking Spike Island. Tip: if you're interested in enjoying them before the plebs do, check out their myaids page now. Think 80s-themed Haircut 100 inspired pop that's more liberating than having unprotected sex with a pre-AIDS rentboy sometime in 1984. Not that you'd actually want to do that kind of thing..

| 2009, Power Shovel Audio. Killer Bong is the most active member of a Tokyo crew of totally-fucked-in-the-head producers and rappers known as Think Tank. Hes also, apparently, on some J.D. Salinger mysterious tip, and doesnt much like giving interviews or talking to anyone. Maybe hes just too busy cranking out music - his discography consists of dozens of full-length CD-Rs with homemade covers that can be found in the scummier boutiques of underground Tokyo. While there are certainly shades of jump-cut jazz flourishes amongst the chaotic turntablised samples, much of 'TokyoDub' comes across in a similar manner to a more dub-jazz obsessed incarnation of Daedelus, with contorted horns stretching their way through dense, narcotised-sounding beatscapes dotted with MPC-bashed samples. In fact, it sounds pretty much like DJ Shadow should produce in 2009, densely detailed, vaguely paranoiac and captivated by the interplay of repetitive loops, rather than headed in any particular direction. | It's January 2013, the techno music is over and so is mankind. Sailing through a cosmic space now full of myriads of former Earth ashes, Lord Bangzorg, the captain-DJ of a klingonian spaceship which is in fact a massive entertainment club for his race, is quite sad and angry even if the lines on his forehead make him always look angry. He's in the middle of compiling a mix for the next party on the ship when everybody should go nuts because it's President Kling's Birthday but, oh k-boy, his mind is so distracted, all his thoughts are going straight to the prison cell where the last human female, Tracy, is chained. Yes, folks, he's in love with that alien and, fuck President's Day, Bangzorg wants to impress her with his mix which will be transmitted through all space speakers even in the prison cells. But all he knows is the traditional Klingonian club music which is mainly a succession of sounds like "bzrg", "frgz", "stgrz" and even "zgrg". Suddenly, a glimpse of hope appears in his eyes: an unknown furry animal with incredibly long ears was stolen from the Earth before its implosion and now he's trapped in the science lab on the ship; attached to his neck, there is a round magnetic thingy which, as their scientists say, is a record of annoying human music sounds. Bangzorg runs to the lab and finds the curious creature on a cage; he's standing with a paw right over that record and looks straight to the klingonian. Bangzorg says "Please" but it sounded more like "Plzr". Bangzorg says "Please"again and it sounded better. The furry animal finally lets it go and the klingonian takes the record on which he reads struck by a lightning bolt: "Mixtape for Tracy". He looks to the animal and sees a smile. That's how the mix sounded. |

| suedezele nu vor mai veni in seara aceasta la control din cauza solistei care s-a imbolnavit de gripa. managementul trupei a promis venirea lor atunci cand situatia va reveni la normal. toti cei care au achizitionat deja bilete pentru concertul Those Dancing Days isi pot recupera banii mergand cu biletele la punctele de unde au fost achizitionate. oricum, fiind un party aniversar (lma control, inca o data!) se va tine concertul celor de la blister blue si mono jacks. |
