Photographer Aaron Hawks walks that fine line between "art" and "erotica", especially if you like a little bondage or bukkake mixed in with your art nudes. Sometimes dominant, sometimes submissive and always full of personality, the female subjects in these surreal genre and figure studies are never exactly vanilla objects of lust. Living in emerging porn center Emeryville, California, Aaron's work represents many of the trendy currents in the Bay Area creative consciousness. |

Si iata cum artistii ghanezi s-au dovedit mai creativi decat noi. Din cate imi amintesc, videotecile nu aveau parte de cine stie ce publicitate, doar "word of mouth". Preferatul meu indiscutabil e pisica terifianta.
P.S.: De vizitat zilnic baza de date cool a celor de la Dazed&Confused. Cei care isi rup broccoli-ul de la gura ca sa-si ia revista de la Carturesti stiu de ce. |

| Cavalcade of Glee and Dadaist Happy Hardcore Pom Poms, cam asa se cheama albumul scos in 2006 la Planet Mu. Dupa ce la inceput am fost destul de sceptic, am patruns in "classicul" Rossz Csillag Allat Szuletett (merita auditie), de unde am ramas cu un gust placut. Sunt destul de putini care ar gusta un experiment muzica clasica - drill'n'bass/breakcore, ei bine, pentru acestia avem un baiat din Canada, care, dupa un mic "trip" in Ungaria si-a cam schimbat stilul. Am bagat o cronicuta mai informala, dar cu care sunt, in mare parte, de acord. Nu fugiti pana nu ascultati. |

| trece anul si nu prea am ramas cu multe din 2006. As sublinia si ultimul album Ammoncontact: With Voices (Ninja Tune) care exploreaza hip-hop does electronica intr-o maniera destul de originala si fresh. Sa nu trecem cu vederea aceasta aparitie satisfacatoare. Highlights: Worth it, Children of the Sun, Drum Riders. |

| Da, oricat v-ati fi asteptat la asta, nu vine Sandra Magic (ca in postul de mai an despre Abba) ci chiar Sandra Herself! Si nu oriunde, ci chiar in Piatra Neamt, cu ocazia Zilei de Sf. Nicolae, o zi atat de importanta in istoria pop-ului. In sfarsit, o initiativa care ma face mandru de orasul meu natal. O ocazie excelenta de a vedea pe viu daca Michael Cretu e chiar buclat pe bune! O bila neagra, totusi: nu puteau sa cupleze recitalul cu un show Enigma, sau poate e o surpriza inca si o sa-i vedem la anul de Sf. Ion? |

Ai muscat dintr-o portocala. Cu sete, ar spune un tip mai expresiv. Acum, hmm,
incearca sa musti din aceeasi portocala cu urechea. What? Nu te uita asa la mine, nu
sunt artist. Nu vreau decat sa-ti recomand albumul "Citrus" al celor de la Asobi Seksu.
Voiam sa-ti spun de fapt de sunetul "citric" pe care melodiile lor il imprastie in tine
si de soundbites-urile lor zemoase pe care poti sa le infuleci cu urechea (stiu de pe
acuma ca cea mai gustoasa bucata va fi "Thursday", sunt sigur sigur). De Yuki Chikudate,
portocala nipona de la voce care o sa-ti coloreze in oranj trompa lui Eustache si,
mi se spune in casca, o sa-ti dubleze fanteziile manga. Nu te uita din nou ciudat la mine,
doar nu credeai ca numele lor inseamna "floarea de cires cazuta pe spinarea cocorului".
Nu, inseamna chiar "playful sex". Iti spun eu, in iarna ce urmeaza, lasa portocalele
grecesti, lasa-te captiv aromelor new-yorkeze de fata. |
