cand toate revistele respectabile/blogurile de afara sunt in febra dublului top (albumele anului/deceniului), ai zice ca la noi nu se intampla mai nimic. cu exceptia numarului din sunete care tocmai ce sta sa apara de craciun in care, pentru prima data in ro cred, are loc cea mai ampla/bine scrisa recomandare de albume din partea a 20 de blogosferici talentati, care trec in revista varii stiluri de la dan deacon la grizzly bear si tyondai braxton. go buy it ca e chiar material de citit de data asta (diverta, music Box, carrefour + in bucuresti in club control, gara de nord).

| it's a fact, you cant beat weather, asa s-a intamplat si sambata seara cand am sperat pana in ultima clipa ca avionul aterizat fortat la burgas (bg) le va aduce pe cele doua rezidente panorama bar la mnac. nu s-a putut, asa ca am avut un line-up romanesc care a adus acel vibe ce poate aminti de berlin, vizibil si in pozele de acolo (click pe poza bardului de sus- multumim, amdraci- si tillate). anyway, prestatia celor doua absente se va reprograma in curad, we'll keep you posted. |

vineri, in club control, edwin, claparul trupei math-rock britanice foals, va iesi la rampa cu un set eclectic de electro, disco si krautrock, stilurile din care trupa sa si-a tras seva creativa. noi avem 2 invitatii duble de dat celor care ne vor da cele mai inspirate raspunsuri la intrebarea: ce stil credeti ca ar aborda o trupa formata chiar din cai si de ce? deadline: vineri, ora 16.

Atelierul sunetului aduce in premiera in Bucuresti un documentar dedicat pionierului muzicii electronice Jean-Jacques PERREY. Documentarul va fi urmat de un live Minus (Daniel Stanciu) creat special pentru atelier.
Filmul “Prelude au someil” realizat de Gilles WEINZAEPPLEN in 2008 are acelasi titlu ca primul album al lui Perrey si contine cateva aparitii-surpriza.
Jean-Jacques PERREY este primul muzician care a crezut in potentialul “pop” al muzicii electronice, la inceputul anilor 50. pe vremea cand mediul era rezervat exclusiv avangardelor. Cu aliati precum Jean Cocteau, Edith Piaf sau Charles Trenet in Franta, Gershon Kingsley sau Angelo Badalamenti in Statele Unite, JJ Perrey a lucrat la dezvoltarea unei noi ere sonore care raspundea ambitiilor de “modernitate” a anilor 60.

| 2009, Magical Properties. Initially, Jogger had almost no idea what type of music they wanted to create, but they had a room full of instruments, hardware, software, and seven years to figure it out. Their experimental sound is comprised of sonic scraps, sound effects, synthesizers, mutilated guitar parts and eerie vocals, lending a certain density to the layers upon layers of sound they have created. Jogger is two parts from Los Angeles, comprised of Amir Yaghmai (violin, guitar, vocals) and Jonathan Larroquette (laptop, controller, vocals). The pair utilizes both live and electronic instruments in conjunction with their vocal harmonies to create a weird, psychedelic, and emotional listening experience. They have united multiple musical styles such as folk, rock, psych, and electronic to produce a sound that is, at times, mind-blowing. Electronica, IDM, Laptop Folk, Downtempo. |
