The music is built upon a massive bed of samples, loops and sounds, aswell as recorded with live musicians - everything from complete symphonic orchestras to bandoneon to vocalists.
Ugress dives into a groovy, spooky and cinematic landscape of weird samples, loops and sounds. Strong rythms carries soundscapes and melodies forth. The sources of sampling include easy listening records of the 60ies, unknown and well known classic funktracks of the 70ies, computer games, television commercials and the oldest aswell as latest sci-fi b-movie. The compelling groove of a breakbeat (or two, or three) is, of course, always present.'

| un uber- event berlinez a avut loc vinerea trecuta. milenasong s-a jucat prea mult cu sample-urile de voce, undeva intr-o zona experimentala cam haotica. in casti suna mult mai bine decat cum a performat acolo, definitely, chiar lollipop hit-ul ei, lily wyatt, a aratat de nerecunoscut. tarwater au fost in forma, acea senzatie de pulp (jarvis cocker's voice included) going electro, oricat de agreabila ar fi, a devenit insa la un moment destul de previzibila. dar, votez pentru ei. momentul culmininant a fost ms. john soda, in care vocea eterata a solistei (-foto- dressed badly but you'd forget this in a second) si abordarea mai rockish fata de albume a facut senzatie, lumea fiind mai multa si participand mai noisy. |

este cel mai bun film de razboi pe care l-am vazut. sub cenusa insulei vulcanice din titlul filmului, se duce clasicul duel intre doua temperamente si culturi: cowboy-i si samuray-i. prima versiune(filmul in cauza), a celor invinsi, niponii, mi-a vorbit inca o data, cinematografic, uman, printr-o imagine si un realism exceptional si apocaliptic, despre ideea pe care deja o aveam in cap despre japonezi.
sunt curios in ce maniera va pleda clint eastwood pentru poporul ce mananca hamburgher si manuieste lasoul.(si bombe nucleare)
ps: aveti grija sa nu va fie perturbata dispozitia de cate un grup de cinefili din vitan(sau mai multe) |

Si pentru ca astazi este ziua in care una dintre dilemele primordiale nu suporta dezbatere, si anume, oul a fost al doilea:
Draga mama, multumesc ca mi-ai dat viata si toate celelalte. Nu am uitat cat de mult iti place coaja de portocala in ceai.

Ps: imi pare rau ca nu voi putea veni nici saptamana asta acasa.

| Desi nu am insistat aproape deloc pe aceasta tema, se pare ca niste simpatici cocosei de munte ne-au votat la recent incheiata editie a Roblogfest. Daca nu sunt matusile si cumnatele noastre de pe dial-up, e foarte posibil sa fii chiar tu, cel care te afli acum pe acest blog straniu. Pentru locul 3 la categoria "blog de companie", iti multumim. Desi stii prea bine ca intre termenul "companie" si wtf-ul care se posteaza aici nu e nici o legatura. Oricum, noi nu ne consideram bloggeri, mai mult niste ratoni in carouri care stiu intr-o oarecare masura sa foloseasca mouse-ul. Oricum, oricumilor, congrats pentru locul doi, lasa ca la anul sabotam blogul Gazetei Sporturilor, ii vom umple pana la refuz numai cu stiri din petanque. |
